Q: Could I have aids? sex with prostitute

Recently I did something horificably stupid, I got drunk and slept with a hooker, now the thing is although she sucked me with a condom on, when we had sex a little bit of come came into the condom, but I slowed her down, changed positions and had sex for a short while - when I went to change positions again as I pulled out I realised the condom wasn't on anymore, I'm guessing (and only guessing) that it came off as I pulled out,

now rhere was some come in the condom but not much, she freaked a bit as so did I,

now the bad thing is I'm married and I don't dare have sex with my wife until I know if I could have aids?

The main problem is that where I live if you get an aids test and its positive you get deported.

Please, please people, give me some advice or tell me what the chances of aids are?

We all do horrifically stupid things.

Chances are, if there is NO protection (condom comes off), there is no protection. Therefore, any infection can occur including other STDs. Please get tested for those. There are rapid tests out these days to test HIV within a few weeks or is it days? Otherwise you would have to wait three months from the point of infection to get a blood test. Mbae which time your wife will be very suspicious.

The government I am living under tried to deport me primarily for having AIDS and so I can understand your fear.

You must take responsibility for what you have done and you should tell your wife what happened when the time is right. You are correct not to have intimate relations with her until you sort yourself out. Good on you.

Hopefully you have learned your lesson.

Always

I'm sorry to tell you but a conclusive HIV test can take up to 6 months, using an antibody test. Other STD'S take far less time, only a week or two to be detectable. However, keep in mind for HIV there are different test you may be able to get done. Ask your doctor about a PCR test or a P24 antigen test. These test detect the virus directly and generally are more accurate.

henry456, you owe it to your wife to discuss this with her and let her decide how to proceed. you were right when you said it was stupid. my suggestion would be to take responsibility for what you did, and commit not to do anything like that again ever. she has a right to know if you are going to potentially subject her to who-knows-what kind of diseases. i'm not saying this to beat you up, but just to speak on behalf of your wife who is a totally innocent party in this situation.
