Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Your concern is regarding the status of your pregnancy. I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated. The serum test is a much more sensitive test compared to the urine test. The HCG (it is a hormone) levels rise only in pregnancy and hCG can be detected in urine after implantation of zygote in the wall of the uterus formed by the union of the sperm & the ovum, which occurs six to twelve days after fertilization. So HCG presence will confirm the status of your pregnancy. Ideally urine for pregnancy test should be done after 1 week of your missed periods date.
The spotting which you had could be due to implantation bleeding which occurs due to the implantation of the zygote on the inner lining of the uterus.
The mood changes that you are having can be due to the hormonal changes which are there whenever there is any irregularity in periods. This should become better with the next menstrual periods ( in the absence of any pregnancy).
So get your pregnancy status checked and if the symptoms still persist then please consult your gynecologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
