Hi im tiffany and i have a question about pregnancy. me and my boyfriend have been trying to get pregnant but i just recently started my period on august 14th. i calculated my ovulation time and it shouldnt be until the 23rd through about the 28th. ive been told that your ovulating when your cevix is high and soft. i checked it the 18th and it was high and soft but im on my period. the 18th we had unprotected sex and im wondering if i could\'ve gotten pregnant? i plan on trying again the 23rd through the 28th but could i already be on my way to getting pregnant since we did it while my cervix was high and soft?
- i need answers please !
<3 tiffany

Taking your basal body temperature (BBT) and tracking your cervical mucus is much more reliable than the cervix height and feeling. The cervix height and feeling is considered secondary signs and are only to be trusted when you can confirm it with BBT or cervical mucus observations.

It will be very unlikely that you ovulated on Aug 18. For that to happen you will have to have a cycle of around 18 days - very unusual.
