Q: Could I be pregnant?

I had a couple of posts maybe a week ago saying that I had unprotected sex but while on the pill. I have not missed any pills, I have been very good at taking them. I've only taken it an hour to two hours late probably only 3 times out of this month. I finally got to my four inactive pills today (this is my first time taking Yaz, I switched from Ortho) but no period yet. When should I be expecting my period? Will my period come? Is there a possibility of pregnancy? Will switching around birth controls have an effect on my period and I might not get it atall until next month? Any answers would be really helpful.

When switching birth control pills with different hormones, your period will be irregular for a while. I also think that Ortho is a 21/7 pill with 7 "period" pills? Yaz is a 24/4 pill with only 4 "period" pills. It is thus to be expected that your body will take some time to adjust to the new schedule.

Normally Yaz will have a description of what to expect when you switch to it from another pill on their web site.

So, you don't believe this has anything to do with pregnancy? I know that the chances of getting pregnant while on the pill are slim, but there is still that chance.
