could i be pregnant?
Posted: 05-07-08 00:21am

Okay, so i had written a question pertaining to this situation a few days ago but as the days progress i have more questions and more specific details for specific answers or suggestions. So, on April 23rd 2008 i had unprotected sex and therefore caused me to miss my period that was due5 days later on April 28th 2008. Even though i am going on 9 days late now it would still be too early to tell on an at home pregnancy test. since most tests say the earliest they can tell is at least 5 days before your next missed period which for me wouldn't be until May 28th. another thing that has been skeptical to me is that a week before my period is due my breasts usually are in very much pain, but this hasn't happened until today. i have scheduled a pelvic sizing may 13th and am in the process of scheduling my blood test tomorrow. But, my symptoms are obviously my missed period, tingly tender breasts (just today), headaches, painful backaches, soreness in hips, light headedness, dizziness, bloated abdomen, wake up in puddles of sweat every morning even though i am in the air conditioner, an extreme amount of white milky discharge, nausea, and have been eating like crazy, and also have been wanting to do nothing but just sleep, i cry in the middle of a sentence and get extremely angry when something is even said the wrong way to me then i burst out into tears. SOOOOOOO if anyone would like to give me their opinion on this situation until i go for the internal or my blood test it would ease my thoughts very much. Thank you so much to anyone who replies!!!!!!

It's been 2 weeks since you had unprotected sex. Now is not too early to test.

With all these symptoms, you should be able to trigger a positive preg test, but I suppose you'll find out for sure when you get your blood test.

A pregnancy test would be accurate by now. April 28th was your missed period; it has been 2 weeks since you have had unprotected sex. I would recommend getting a HPT and taking it, but since you are getting a blood test done I suppose waiting for those results will work as well. Good luck!

Good luck to you. Sound like it could be a + but you'll just have to test and see. Are you ttc?

Take a test it should be able to read by now. I guess if you want to wait until your Dr's appointment you could since they'll do a blood test anyway. But that would drive me nuts! I would at least have to try a home test. If your not sure about the outcome of the home test wait another week and do another if still no period. Good luck to you!!

Okay, I've been feeling upper and lower backaches, stomach tenderness, breast tenderness (blue veins and discoloration, swelling), heart burn, dizzyness, fatigue, pee 7-10 times a day, hungry. The only symptoms i don't have are cravings or nausea yet. I took two pregnancy tests and they came up neg.

I've been having these symptoms when I started ovulating and they haven't gone away when I stoped. Can anyone helo me out here??

HeaHea Heart Burn, Blue Veins and discoloration, upper back pain, swelling (unless you mean weight gain, but that usually doesnt even start for several weeks) none of those happen till later in pregnancy you should definatly know if your preg or not by then. But since you gave no info as to when your last period was or any time frame to go by not much advice anyone can give. I would start your own post with a little more info if you want any answers. GL

More info

My last period was on the 25th of last month and was lighter than usual. Not long after that (about8 days) I started to feel as if I was ovulating, if it was ovulating, I have been having lower and upper back pain since then. There are two times where I can see where I MIGHT have gotten pregnant: a month ago(april 12th) precisely or just a week and a half ago (May 8th).

-Breasts hurt
-Heartburn
-peeing 7-10 times a day
-backpain, upper and lower
-Stomach pain
