I am 21 years old. I've been on Kariva (a birth control pill). A day and half before I was supposed to get my period, I got brown discharge. On June 13th is when I started my period, until the 19th. On June 18th I woke up with a headache and very very nauseated. Vomited a quite a few times. Next day I didnt vomit but felt nauseated. Felt nauseated till about June 21st. I started getting very bloated around the 20th. I still feel bloated today (June 24). My nipples arent sore and my breasts do not hurt. I do however, feel some discomfort about where my left ovary is, or in between my two ovaries (right in the middle). I'm belching a lot, because of the bloating and gas in my stomach. I've been having headaches almost everyday. I do take my birth control every day, not at the EXACT time; lastest is an hour difference. But I have not missed one. Can I be pregnant even if I'm on birth control?

Extremely eHealthy
Birth control pills have an extremely low failure rate when taken as directed - for these combination pills, about 5 women out of every 1000 that used it for a full year will become pregnant. You can thus see that the chance of you being pregnant is extremely small but not impossible.

The best thing you can do is to take a a pregnancy test. That way you will be sure and can stop worrying.
