Could I be pregnant?? Help!
alright, so I am 21 years old and attending college. My fiance is a marine and was just home for leave during the Christmas holidays. Now, I'm not going to be shy in saying that during the two weeks that he was here we were "together" on several occasions. And we didnt really practice the safest of sex, and stuck with the pull out method. At the most I could be two to two and a half weeks pregnant. But here are my symptoms. My breasts are sore to the touch and I just noticed that I can see large blue veins running toward my nipples. They also appear firmer and larger. I am also feeling nauseous fairly often but haven't thrown up or anything. I have been sleeping alot more than normal and have been a bit more emotional than usual and having crazy seeming mood swings. And my stomach just feels weird. I don't know what it is. Please help me if you can!

Hi osucowboysgirl, I have two young children and from the symptoms you have described, it is possible that you are pregnant. Stress, in some cases, can also produce similar symptoms. The only way to be 100% sure is to take a pregnancy test. The ideal time to take the test is around the date you would be due for your next period and during the first morning bathroom visit when hcg levels or pregnancy hormones (if present) are at their highest. With my first child, I suspected I was pregnant however the tests didn't confirm this until I was six weeks along.

Good Luck. Hope you get the results you wish for.

P.S. Once a fertilised egg implants itself into the lining of the uterus, you are automatically two weeks pregnant. So, if you are pregnant, you would be at least four weeks in.

Alright, I didn't know that last part. Thank you very much for your advice. I'm just gonna give it a week or two before I go ahead and take the test. I'll keep you posted.
