Q: Could I be expecting ?

Okay... I had taken a pregnancy test 2 in a half weeks after my last time being sexually active!!! The test came out to be positive... But like my mom I ended up coming on my period... After that my breast became very tender!!!.... Today out of the blue my sides became very sore and started hurting like a terrible pulling pain!!!! I have been drinkin lot of water i barely even drink sodas as much as usual...

Well, Not to long ago my friend who is now my ex boyfriend Aunt was telling me when she found out she was pregnant it was because her sides had been hurting and she had been comin on her period and she was worried and went to the doctor and when she went she found a new growth and that was her finding out she was pregnant!!!!

So i am like so seriously wondering can i possibly be pregnant!!!! I have beeen eatin and sleepin more then usual.. And i have gained over 5 pounds... Its been a month now!!!!

So any advice!!!!

You should take another pregnancy test. If it's positive, go see a doctor.

Why didn't you go to the doctor when you started bleeding after your last positive?

well the reason was becuz i was having like sicknesses and eating a lot and what not then when i came on i thought nothing of it and i took the test like 2 weeks ago and i havent been having any other signs i thought maybe it was a false alarm or just a freight!!! but WHY SHOULD I GO TO THE DOCTOR DOES THAT MEAN SOMETHING COULD POSSIBLY BE WRONG??

If you had a positive test. Then started bleeding yes you need to go to the dr and should have right away. I don't beleive there are false positives. ONLY if you let them sit too long. So if it was positive in the 2-3 min window, you were pregnant and might still be. Some people can have a little bleeding while pregnant. But you better get into the dr and make sure everything is ok. You may have lost the baby but they will be able to tell you.

If you got a positive test and then started bleeding, it's very possible that you had a miscarriage. You need to see a doctor if this ever happens, because sometimes everything doesn't come out and you can get an infection. It's also possible that you haven't miscarried but the bleeding is a definite warning sign. The doctor can monitor your hormones and give you something to try to help you remain pregnant, like progesterone.

I highly suggest testing again. If the new test says you're pregnant, see your doctor immediately and tell them about your bleeding.

No it doesnt mean anything is wrong, just that you could get an accurate result with a blood test to see if you are pregnant or not, because you said the test came back positive.
After getting a positive test you should go to the doctor.
They will give you a urine test, and if that is not accurate then they will do a blood test, and then go over your extected due date, and major prenatal appts. and more.
