Is he coughing, like he needs to clear something from his throat or is he coughing and somewhat out of breath? The only thing I can think of that would cause a response like that is an asthma attack. Physical exertion can cause an asthma attack. (Asthma attacks do not always cause a life threatening inability to breathe. They can sometimes present as a coughing fit or wheezing.)

Strangely enough, I found a lot of similar posts where people threw up or felt like throwing up after orgasm. Unfortunately, no one had a solution to this problem. One site suggested that the orgasm- which causes various muscles to spasm- may actually cause the stomach to tightly clench and cause the urge to vomit. Sorry I could not find a treatment for this.

Honestly, the only time I've heard somebody say they felt like puking right after sex was when they had their first few gay sexual experiences. As I did further research on that, come to find out those puking feelings have nothing to do with the shame or guilt or fear of unacceptance, but our minds and bodies telling us that this isn't a healthy thing to do. Still, one can condition themselves to overcome the feelings of puking by the more and more they have gay sex. But I think the better idea is to listen to what our instincts and our bodies are telling us...they always know what's best. As far as coughing attacks right after orgasm, a lot of guys experience that...being hydrated before hand and making sure one is breathing deep and rhythmically during sex should help prevent that.

I'm am a 34 year old male. This just started to me, coughing after orgasm, after my month long sickness last month. I don't have anymore cold symptoms except for occasional coughing at night and coughing after orgasm. I'm sure it has something to do with the neurological stimulation/release of orgasm. I hope as I reach 100% health it will subside.
