First, I've started coughing from Jan 18, 2008. I've been seen 3 different doctors for Cough medicine. The last doctor told me that it was not a cold symptom but allergie. Therefore, he subscribed a strong medication for cough "Tussionex" and asked me to use Claritin D or Claritin. Yes, it did help for coughing in mid of February, I could sleep instead of stayed up the whole night due to coughing. Howver, I realized I had more pain around my chest, ribs (when you press), backache and short breath every time I cough, or turn my body. The doctor told me to take Advil for few days, but from Feb to current time, I'm still having cough even less than before, but painful is still exist at the time I'm writing. FYI: I've done Xray 3 times, lung is clear. Therefore, I don't know how I can get rid of coughing and my pain on chest, rib, back, and short breath. Really appreciate for your input and your help. Do I need to see pulmonary expert?
