I recently heard of, saw images of and even MET a young woman who had a synthetic melanistic panther tail grafted to her body. It is a living tail and contains organic tissues and blood vessels, but is not connected to the nervous system. Its even complete with FUR!
I was wondering if anyone had any info about this. I'm curious as to costs, side effects, and the operation its self.

Extremely eHealthy
I met a girl who had replaced her hands with mechanical prosthetic scorpion pinchers (A handshake to remember) I don't honestly have enough evidence about her past to find out if this was a medical procedure that was done deliberately somehow or if she lost function of her hands and modified her medical prosthetic. Either way the impression most of us had of her is horrible sympathy rather that awe or inspiration. I've met the Cat Man quite a few times now. He just had surgery to implant sensate whiskers in his lips and appearantly he's found a doctor that will somehow graft fur over his face. Being an individual is one thing but risking untested surgical work to be an alien is quite another.
