Q: Coping with phimosis
asked by: DoctorQuestion on January 8th, 2009
I have phimosis.how ever i have seen that the skin on my whole penis
moves smoothly but the problem is that the opening of the foreskin is a little bit small and so the penis head does not come out in erect condition.so what is the treatment? I would prefer not to use circumsizing.
Besides can i have sex with phimosis. What are the side efffects of circumsizing?

The skin tissue of the foreskin is susceptible to stretching as any part of the skin. So, a prolonged session of trying to pull the foreskin might solve the problem. It might take a lot of patience, but usually works well in the end. Having intercourse with phimosis is possible, if the head of the penis is not painfully sensitive. There are no side effects of circumcision. However, rare complications might occur, such as: hemorrhage, infection, secondary phimosis or adhesions between the glans and the remaining prepuce.
