Thank you for taking the time to write in about a very difficult situation. I am so sorry to hear that you do not feel as though anyone cares about you.
Although developing healthy friendships is clearly something important, I am more concerned about the fact that you are contemplating suicide. I urge you to talk with either your school counselor or a licensed mental health professional who can talk with you about your feelings of hopelessness and who may be able to help you determine why you are currently having difficulty establishing healthy friendships.
While your feelings are likely pretty intense right now, they will not likely stay that way. A trusted mental health professional can work with you and "be with you" as you make your way to the other side of depression. There is no way to predict how long that journey will take, but having someone "with you" can make the struggle feel less difficult and not quite so lonely.
Please get the help you need.
Best wishes to you,
Dr. Selby
