I am a care giver to a woman who is at the end stages of copd and at times has serious aggitation and restlessness at night between 230 am and 4 am she is on some medication to try to ease this for her but it doesnt always work so we are looking for ways to help her rest and be less aggitated at night. She pulls off her bipap mask and her o2 levels drop quickly. If you know of any ways for us to help her rest better we would really appericate the advice. We are trying not to add any other medications we are looking for natural ways to help because we want her to be as alert during the day as possible because her times of mental confussion happen mostly at night (yes we are sure it is sun downers)
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum-Play soft music inn the backgroun..Music that is relaxing maybe even the ocean will relax her..She may get too hot and stir awake..I have bronchitis and know that when I am too hot I cannot sleep well..Be careful of what she eats and drnks after 7pm..A fan blowing across her will help to keep her cool as well..It drys the eyes and makes you want to close them..Maybe even a baby doll for her to have for rest will give her oomfort..I have worked in nursing homes and we always tried any and everything..best of luck..kd

Calcium & magnesium work to geather to create proper muscle function & relaxation, the complete range of B vitamins are good for correct nerve function, all these can be obtained in one tablet or possibly liquid preparation. normally they are sold as a B complex executive formular, but check the listing to be sure of their content.Something that might be of help if you are willing, look up the vital functions of salt in the body, let me know if you would like to know more & how to prepare this & use it.
