Q: Controlling endometriosis ?

I was diagnosed with endometriosis almost two years ago. I'm now 24 and have gone through 6 months of Lupron and lazer surgery to remove it. Since then I've noticed too many symtoms coming back, but when I've been checked out by my doctor (PAPs and ultrasound), they don't find anything. I will bleed for two weeks at a time, have large clots and chunks of ? come out when I urinate. It's scary and I've basically been told to live with it or "get everything taken out". Are there any better answers?

Re: Controlling endometriosis ?
unfortunately pain management is the only way to go. you could have more elective surgery if more endometrium cells were present but other than that the only 'solution' is to have a hysterectomy unfortunately. are you on the pill? because thats used to help control the growth of endometrium cells and helps alot as you can put off having your period and they are also much lighter which is a relief pain wise. the pill is the best option in terms of stopping the bleeding which happens before hand. hope that helps!
