Hello my name is Samantha I am 38 weeks and 5 days and this morning I had 5 contractions 5 minutes apart each time what does that mean!!!!!???? The pain starts in middle and lower back and goes through my stomach...

At 38 weeks pain in lower abdomen going to back is more likely to be true labor pains. False labor pains are only felt in lower abdomen and do not go to the back. They do not come at fixed intervals. Hence chances of true labor pains are more. Please call your obstetrician and rush to the medical center for delivery. All the best! Take care!
