Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

If you are 39 weeks pregnant, having contractions every 20 minutes, call your obstetrician and rush to the delivery center or if you do not have one, rush to an ER immediately. Please do not delay as frequency of contractions differ with women. Do not be alone. If you have an ambulance helpline—call that if you are alone. Hope this helps. Take care!
