If you were to be with somebody for 2 and a half years,it it possible for Genital warts to only just be detected now if you both had been completely faithfull during the relationship?
After being together for 4-5 months found out we both had clymedia and didnt know who gave it to who.And now recently have found out that my girlfriends ex boyfriend was sleeping with ALOT of people behind her back when they were together.
Is it likely that my girlfriend mite of had Hpv(genital warts)the whole 2 and half years and its only showing now? She has had a abnormal pap smear and i have something which could be a wart under my foreskin thats been there for over a year.Im really worried that if it is HPV it could ruin our relationship and trust in each other.

Would be very gratefull for some Facts on this please

Yes. HPV can be detected years after it is contracted.
