I have been taking Yasmin for three years now, I am Diabetic and on insulin twice a day, I was having horrible pains in my left leg and noticed that my veins were getting black, the blackish color traveled up to my thigh after taking antibiotics prescribed by my doctor, they sent my to have a doppler done, (don't know if I spelled it right)The test showed nothing, I stopped the Yasmin for a couple of months and I no longer have the pain. I started another pack recently and the pain came back so I stopped it again, the Yasmin was the only birth control that didn't give me migraines. My question, is it safe for Diabetics to take the pill?
