I have not stopped bleeding for over 4 months now, I have to buy super plus tampons and wear pads too - everyday. I have not had a day where I do not have to use both. The flow is very heavy and within the flow there is clots of what I can only assume to be womb lining as you would get in a heavy period. Occasionally I will have the aches and pains that accompany a regular period, but apart from that it is just continuous bleeding.

I am 37 and up until my birthday I have had regular periods, usually 3-days heavy bleeding and 2-days very light and nothing til the next month. I had a child 18 years ago and not had a pregnancy since. I do not have a partner and have not had sex for nearly a year, so I know that I have no chance of pregnancy. I am also not on any medication and do not take the pill.

Any recommendations - apart from visiting my doctor! That is on my list of things to do...

Thanks.
