Hi. Good afternoon. I have this problem which I encounter for the first time in my life. My age is 25. I have this contineous bleeding. After I'm done with my usual 7 days menstrual, I have sex. That was after a day I completed the cycle. On the next day after having sex I woke up with a surprise. I bleed. And it countinues bleeding like I'm having my usual menstrual. The flow was heavy. Is this really something wrong with me. And I want to know if it's effecting my chance of getting pregnant as well. Much appreciated with a reply.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The change in bleeding pattern can indicate probable serious issues. If you are trying to get pregnant, then get a complete check done for hormones to make sure there are no other underlying abnormalities associated, as this can affect your fertility levels. The heavy bleeding could indicate early miscarriage too if your periods were lighter than usual before this heavy bleeding started.
Meet a gynecologist soon to go ahead with examination and tests and get started on treatment as indicated.
Take care.
