Sorry for your sinus infection
I came here searching for answers to my sinus infection (first one ever) because it has lasted two weeks and I am frustrated with that. So you have my sympathy for having it for two years!! I won't complain about mine anymore after reading yours. I've been doing research too on sinuses and it sounds like an ENT would be able to point you in the right direction. You have already had surgery so may be you fixed the physical problem. But I have been reading more and more about sinus fungal infections that aren't taken care of with antibiotics. They get in there and stay unless they are removed by surgery or by intravenous anti-fungal medicine. If I were you, I would find a teaching hosptial and go there. They may have more answers for you beyond a prescription of antibiotics. Change ENT's until you find the answer. I wouldn't be able to put up with this for two years!! Good luck.

Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar Works!
Have you ever tried Apple Cider Vinegar? I've had a sinus infection for about a year. Going to the doctor's and being in the same position as you where I get the antibiotics, it works for a few weeks then it comes back again. However, I started drinking apple cider vinegar twice a day (about 2 tablespoons in an 8 ounce glass of cold water) in the morning right when I wake up and before I go to bed. I also took this prescribed sinus spray (I don't have it on me now sorry) in the middle of the day. Within a week it's gone. I can breathe through my nostril clearly. It's such a good feeling. I used Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. Make sure you do this process EVERY DAY for at least 2 weeks or it might come back.

Sinus infections really fungal infections
Many sinus infections are actually a fungal or yeast overgrowth infection. Check out the Mayo clinic on this subject for reference. This type if infection gets worse with antibiotics and needs an anti fungal such as Diflucan to treat it along with a probiotic (antibiotics kill off good and bacteria and allow fungal/yeast to overgrow) and a probiotic replenishes what you are missing. Yogurt has some, but it also has lots of sugar and you don't want that at this point. Also cutting out refined sugar and flour and yeast in your diet helps get it under control. We always have some yeast/fungas in our body, but an overgrowth causes an infection. I have seen many people with recurring years if what they thought was sinus infection only to realize later it was fungal. Hope this helps!
