I have had an ongoing problem for about 2 years where I have a continuous flow of mucous and phlegm in the back of my throat. This causes me to swallow constantly in an effort to clear my throat. This begins almost as soon as I wake up until I go to sleep. I have sought out an ENT doctor, he prescibed Somac, thinking it was somehow related to my stomach. It hasnt actually helped. Im wondering whether altering my diet would help the condition, cut out dairy for eg. I am vegetarian, very fit and drink a moderate ammount of alcohol. I have pressure in my sinus aswell, it feels infected but the ENT doctor said that it all looked fine. Any suggestions as to how to rid myself of this problem?
