My boyfriend was recently diagnosed with a mild case of Mononucleosis. He has had it for over a week and has only had the fever and chills, no sore throat, no abdominal pain, no loss of appetite, fatigue or weakness. The doctor says it will last 4-6 weeks but he has already noticeably improved; no more chills, and feels like he wants to go exercise. I was wondering how long the average mono patient remains contagious, could anybody help me out?
