I had Hepatitus last year (2008) late November and was hospitalised until December because I also had incafilitus. Theystopped that soon enough though.
I just want to know, it's been going really well with me, but how long before I can consume alcohol again without the risk of liver cancer????

And, an I more prone to get it again??

Thanks, Bronwenn

Why take the chance? I would stay away from alcohol for good. But that's just my opinion..I wouldn't take the chance for a drink.

i have had hep c for three years although I was an inactive carrier and my hep c was not progressing I continued to drink heavily for the past two years, due to the presence of hep c whether active or non and the drinking I now have cirossis of the liver and i am sick every day, no energy, constant pain in my abdomen and back and vomiting, shakes...... speaking from experience i advise you to stop drinking now if you value the life that you have been given, it sounds like you are at a point where you can turn things around, do not be like me and wait until you are dying to want to live
