Constipation is one of the possible reasons for the appearance of hemorrhoids and it is highly likely that it can increase the severity of symptoms. Prevention of constipation must be considered as a part of any hemorrhoid treatment. Exercising, health eating habits, drinking plenty of liquids, or even taking laxative medications (if necessary) can be considered as helpful treatments for aiding healthy bowel movements.
