Q: Constipated and swollen colon

Firstly, my doctor told me about 4 years ago that I have a slightly swollen colon on my left hand side (i think that's the descending part) it has always been tender to the touch but as the years have gone by, it seems that it creates a blockage in my colon. It has now been 11 days since I've been able to go!! Only got slight abdominal cramps, but don't have any urge to go to the loo. I have tried, but it almost feels empty, as though everything is stuck in my large intestine. I have taken Fybogel all week which is meant to loosen things up, I'm also vegetarian so I eat plenty of fruit and veg. Can anybody help me? I'm 20 years old by the way. Thanks all.

hi. maybe you could try a colon cleanse? it worked for me when i was severely constipated (i wasn't able to go on 8 days!) and bloated most of the time. if you're going for a cleanser, try to avoid evercleanse or acai berry stuff, though as i've been scammed by these.
