hi, i am new, 17 years old. i know i dont currently have a problem but i am unsure if i am headed in the direction of a problem. lately i have been going a day once in a while without eating any food. other days i will consume about 1,000 calories. i know that this isnt a problem, but lately i have been constantly thinking about food, how much i have had and have been attempting to throw up. i have never been successful in throwing up but i have wanted to be. when i go a few hours without eating i feel proud of myself for holding out so long.
any thought at all would b appreciated.
thank you so so much.

Be careful
Please be careful...when you don't take in enough food the body will start feeding off other stores of energy and slow your metabolism down greatly...gradually this can lead to other problems such as strain on the heart and weak bones. Please try to maintain a healthy diet and get help if you find it hard.

You are already concerned for yourself. Seek help now. You need to address this problem with food before it gets out of control. It can be a slippery slope when you first start this and before you know it you can not control your eating habits. Bulimia will ravage your body. Before you start down that path talk to someone.
