Hey i've suffered from panic attacks and anxiety problems since i was about 10/11 it was mainly breathing problems and the tightness in the chest and tingling up my arm. now i am 21 and the panic attacks have lessened from about once a week to once every 2 months but i'm still constantly nervous and borderline unhappy and i find my self getting lost in a fantasy world to cope with my anxiety. i dont mind this tobe quite honest i would stay in this fantasy world forever but my uni work is seriously suffering and interacting with people is becoming more difficult everyday. my issues change day by day and i can never tell whats wrong with me. i should also mention i am experiencing severe mood swings that i try to hide from my flat mates but its getting harder to do so this is linked with paranoia that everyone is talking behind my back. Please Help ME

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

It is good that the panic attacks have reduced with time and with the treatment you can eliminate the symptoms completely. It seems that you are taking a lot of stress for even small things in life as about small tasks to be completed, work stress etc.You should be confident in yourself and at the same time take anti anxiety and panic medications.
Remember your will power is the main thing which can make you come out of this.
Some suggestions for you:
Do relaxation techniques as deep breathing, yoga, meditation or just a simplw walk in fresh air.
Talk to your family and close friends and confide your fears. When free go for drive with friends or just have fun.
Have a healthy nutritious diet comprising of papaya and other fresh fruits.
When you are in stress sing a song or whistle a tune.Whistling forces to breathe normally and maintains air balance.
Do not care what people think of you.How does it matter to you?
You can look for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It is quite effective for anxiety.Consider visiting a Physician regarding this.
Hope it helps,

Take Care!
