constant swallowing since late January. Anxiety attacks statrted Jan 12 after taking cold medication. Am now almost symptom free except from insomnia 1-2 times a week and constant swallowing. Any suggestions how to stop constatn swallowing. I try to ignor it but it can really get to me at times. Sometimes it is worse than others - swallowing at least 1-2 times a minute.

Have you noticed when it gets worse? Tried relaxation techniques/meditation as part of your daily routine?

constant swallowing
Sorry i haven't replied sooner. I am still having problems with the constant swallowing. When I am relaxed it seems worse - it is a little better when I am busy and my mind is focused on something else but it never goes completely away. I have tried relaxaton techniques. I havae been told that this is an symptom of OCD and have come across a few other people that have this too. There are times when I can cope with it and then times like today when it is really bad and it is h ard to handle
