I have recently experienced a significant amount of stomach gurgling - both before and after eating - and an elevated level of gas and flatulence. I have done some research on IBS and it seems as though the symptoms are similar. I have a job with some stress and drink lots of tea on a daily basis. These may be contributing factors. My diet has not changed recently nor have I been sick or taken any medications.

Any ideas on what this may be caused by?

It sounds like it could be IBS. Your symptoms are similar. With IBS you want to stay away from caffeine, greasy foods, carbonated drinks like soda, and gassy foods. I would definitely slow eliminate the iced tea and drink more water. Feel better!
