hi friends,i have a constant pain in midst of my STERNUM since last 16 years, i m 37 yrs.i am worried:-i have allergic rhinitis /common cold too since then could u pl guide me wts wrong in my sternum ?????

I do not have an answer to your question. A constant pain in the middle of the sternum that is present for 16 years is most unusual. Clearly the pain is not from your heart or the esophagus. Under such circumstances it might be worthwhile to get special x-ray views of the sternum.
By all means discuss the problem with your physician.

THANKS SIR I HAD THREE TIMES XRAYED MY CHEST NO ABNORMALITY WAS OBSERVED/DETECTED.
