Symptoms: constant smell of cigarrette smoke 24/7

I am not a smoker. Has been constant for past 3 weeks. I see many blogs on various websites with others who have same symptoms.

Guesses range from sinuses to brain tumor. Some physicians are dismissing this as anxiety or psychological. I have yet to see a "true diagnosis". Is there a new illness on the horizon. There cannot be that many people out there from various walks of lives with same symptoms and no one seems to have a clue as to why this is occurring.
