I've been having a problem where my sinus have been really giving me grief for the past 2 months. My nose has been constantly running while simultaneously being stuffed?!? I have searched google & read many forums on sinus congestion, allergies, sinusitis ect... but came up empty handed. The thing is I'm not exectly sure what to be searching for. I constantly feel a tickling in the upper area of my nose which makes me sneeze, or worse, gives me the sensation of having to sneeze. When I pinch the top area of my nose(just below my eyes where the cartilage meets the bone) I can hear/feel the congestion. The best way to describe the sound would be someone walking in wet shoes. Symptoms worsen during the night. I first assumed allergies but nothing new was introduced into my household. Also, my lip has been swelling up, usually in the mornings. It varies where it swells. Right now my upper right side is swollen, but if I don't touch it or irritate it, in a few hours it will start to go down. I have been trying to narrow it down to certain food/ingredients to see if that was the problem. I even avoided salt for a few days. I cannot find the source. I also would like to mention I have had facial surgery (july 2000) for a fractured right side orbital. 3 titanium plates were installed. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or advice.
