hello! im a 19 year old female thats been having way too many problems the last few months. i was sick for 2 months with some infection, which was very stressful and left my body very weak. im getting better now, with all my symtpoms gone. but theres one thing i have now that i never had before, and thats a headache in the back of my head. its from the left back of my head down to the left side of my neck sometimes. i have allergies real bad and i have alot of congestion in my head, so im wondering if maybe its that thats causing it? im starting my period next week too, and usually i start feeling bad a week before, but this is new. Could it be from stress left over from being sick? its the worst at nights and in the mornings, but now it seems to be there all day, no matter what time. it goes away for a little while then come back. i have it for about 3 or 4 days now. does anyone know what might be causing this?

Are you experiencing congestion and stuffiness, with nasal drainage?
Is this headache, pressure-like pain?
Do you feel pressure around the eyes, cheeks and forehead, too?
Does this headache get worse with head movements, especially bending?

i know i had congestion in my head cause my ears would pop all the time, which usually happens when i have backed up snot. i dont have a runny nose, i did but it went away. the pain is like pressure, like someones squeezing the back of my head. the front of my face felt pressure too but a few days before i started getting these headaches. also these headaches went away after i stopped talking my allergy medicine. o.o so i guess thats what caused it?

This sounds like sinusitis headache.
Allergies are one of the most frequent cause for chronic sinusitis (the symptoms of sinusitis occur frequently or for long periods of time), and headaches associated with sinusitis.

pain in back left side of head
The pain started a week ago just after I lay down to go to sleep. The pain began on the back left of my head, at the base of my skull, behind my left ear.
My ear also hurt the first four days. My head feels like it is going to explode if I cough or bend over.
At first the pain comes and goes but I am taking about 975mg of acetaminophen and 800 mg of Ibuprofen, but today it has not gone away since I got up. I have had no injures to my head. The pain is severe and it hurts more when I turn my head to the left or the right.
There is a spot where the pain began that really hurts to the touch.

I have been sick for about 4 weeks. It started out as an allergy ; itchy throat, sneezing, nasal drainage but then it progressed . I was diagnosed with Bronchitis on on Dec 26. I was prescribed doxycycline as an antibiotic along with some cough medicine pills in gel form called “pearls”. (I don't have the meds with me here at work) My cough is under control. No fever, no sore throat. I thought at first that maybe I was a little sore from coughing so much over the last 3 weeks. But the head ache has gotten worse.
The head pain really began on Dec 24. My vision has been slightly blurry, my balance is off and my muscles have that "I need to stretch" feeling. I also have a sharp pain in my stomach that comes and goes. Goodness I sound like I am falling apart! I am going back to the doctor again today but I would like to know what you think.
No diagnosis of diabetes or arthritis.

Thanks
