I have been suffering with pain and pressure on the left-side flank area anteriorly just below my rib cage in front of the floating ribs. I have NO pain in my back.When I palitate the area it is QUITE PAINFUL! otherwise it is a dull ache pain. I feel tired all the time, I feel full all the time. I have had a loss of appetite, but no weight loss. The tenderness is so that I can not stand the pressure from my waist band of pants. At times this area appears noticely swollen. I have had no change in bowel habits, no change flatuance or gas. But I do have a constant feeling of nausea. No fever is present. I have tried using anti- acids, eating smaller meals, No pain when I urinate, No pain when I releive my bowels, Nothing seems to improve the situation. It just seems to be ever present discomfort. If of any consequence I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Diease approx. 5 yrs ago.
