last year I began feeling realling nausous with bouts of throwing up after any alcohol or greasy foods or foods with tomato sauce. I visited my Dr. and my bilirubin came back really high she said. Next she tested me for hep a, b, and c. All negative. Next she did an ultrasound saying that my liver felt inflamed. That test was fine as well. Being very distrought over no answer, I just ate mint after mint to reduce the nausea. It finally went away after 3 months. But now it is back (N/V/D) with pain in my RUQ. It radiates into my back and into my chest. With sharp pain in my chest.I cannot eat anything but the most bland of foods. My Dr. prescribed me Zofran and a lab test for a week away and another ultrasound to look for gallstones. When I first took the zofran, I had really bad diarrhea to the point where I messed on myself without even realizing that I had to go. Needless to say I am afraid of the Zofran now. And 2 nights ago my bp shot to 176/108. With extreme pressure/pain in my chest.I am prone to having panic attacks, but also coming back with abnormal Ecg's. I don't know whether to go to the hospital or not. I would feel very bad if it is just a panic attack. Also, I have been having dizzy spells where I feel really faint.I also have been having a substantial amount of mucous with or without stool. And not sure if this is related- Nov. before last I was in the hospital with severe hypokalemia and high BP. Any ideas on what could be going on?

Sounds like it's probably pyschosomatic. Do you have a lot of stress. Have you been a chronic worrier. Is that part of your personality type. You seems to have many different types of unrelated symptoms. Meaning you can't define one illness from it. If thats the case load up on some St John's Wart and see if it enhances your mood and calms you... or just get you but to the gym. It does wonders. Also your weight may play a role in your general overall health. By the way a sharp unidentifiable pain in the chest, unless a heartattack, or abnormal ECG's is definitely an outstanding symptom of stress. If your still worried get an upper GI. You may have an imbalance of bile production in your stomach in which case you could try taking something like Prilosec OTC and see if it helps. The stool problems may just be caused by a bout of IBS which also something worsened by stress. Whatever you do. Stop worrying get a second opinion and if you need additional emotional support to help you stay focused go see a therapist. There no reason to feel bad about that. With the way life is today a lot of people are living with too much stress.
