I just turned 50.
Last September, I had loose stools that were mostly mucus and diarrhea. They did a colonoscopy and they saw nothing unusual. The sysmptoms went away after a couple weeks and things were fine for about four months.
About a month ago, I had a two week bout with the diarrhea combined with nausea. Then a week of being ok.
Now... for the past two weeks, I am nauseous almost constantly. I haven't had diarrhea this time but have had some loose stools. My stomach gurgles quite a bit too.
I don't know if these three episodes are related or are totally different.
One problem is that I always tend to think the worst when I get sick. I convince myself that I have cancer or something like that.
I am diabetic. I have diverticulosis. I have a hiatal hernia. But all three were diagnosed 10 years or more ago and have never given me the problems I have now with the nausea. Have they just finally caught up with me? Or is it something more serious? Or less serious?
