Three days ago to had onto my nausea I started to get very painfull heartburn with it and burping/gagging up acidy liquid. So I thought I may have "GERD". My doctor called in my prescription yesterday which I havent took yet. But this morning I woke up with diahrrea(the watery kind). I dont know whats going on with my body. Im afraid to eat because im worried I will just get sick. I will add that I do eat alot of fast food and I dont exercise regularly. I dont know if that makes a differance. Please help. Thank You!!

According to the symptoms you reported, you might be experiencing two separate gastrointestinal disorders: Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and Irritable bowel syndrome.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is characterized with abnormal reflux of the gastric acid in the esophagus. The symptoms might relieve once you start taking the prescribed medication. Try eating smaller quantities of food, avoid fried, spicy and food rich in fat.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a functional bowel disorder characterized by chronic abdominal pain, discomfort, bloating and alteration of bowel habits in the absence of any organic cause. You might want to wait for the diarrhea to stop. Meanwhile take more fluids to replace the lost one. If it does not stop for several days or blood appears in the stool, you might want to visit your family doctor for further tests and treatment.
