My son has had a sinus infection or post nasal drip since October. It is now almost Febuary! He is constintly clearing his throat and sniffing, but his nose seems dry. I have taken him to the dr. and they gave the antibiotic and also said to give zyrtec or claritn. the infection went away, but not the nasal drip, and the medicines aren't helping. They called in Singulair four days ago, but he still isn't better. Does anyone know how long it takes for Singulair to work? And will it work for post nasal drip?? Also do you think the Ear, Nose, and Throat dr. would help us more than the pediatrician? He is having really bad anixety from this and if anyone could help I would be grateful. baffle

Dear myke, Thanks for the info. My son is pretty much the same. It has been almost two weeks since the allergy pill. so that is interesting about the ct scan. Thank you and do let me know. Good luck.
