since the 12th of February 09 i have had a bleeding problem, it all started with my period being a week late, then i took a couple of weight loss pills and now bleeding all the time, at first it stopped for a week each month but now its just bleeding daily, it was very heavy and huge clots at first but since the doc gave me this pill called - ((Cyklokapron - tranexamic acid pills)) its been light bleeding but daily with no sign of stopping.

last week i had an pelvic ultra sound. and the lady who did the ultra sound said she could see a cyst on my ovaries but then i called my doctor to hear the results and she said there was nothing on my ultra sound to worry about, so i guess that means i dont hav a cyst.

i had a blood test the same day as the ultra sound but she said she couldnt get enough blood (from my hand) i had another my blood test today. and going back to my doc on monday.

but i am curious, if its not a cyst. whats wrong with me??

i am 20, sexually active, constantly bleeding from vagina (i am taking tranexamic acid tablets to stop the bleeding which is not working)

please let me know what anyone thinks or if any one else has this or had it.. also if u have other questions, feel free to ask.

i am worried about this problem i hope 2 find out whats wrong soon

thanks alot to everyone who reads this and gives a reply.

Hi Shannon: I have been reading up on what you speak about in your post...First of all I wouldn't be sexually active until they get this under control...I wonder if you may be showing signs of being anemic with all this blood loss?...

The medication you are taking should help, but I wouldn't mix a weight loss pill with it...Talk to your OB-GYN before you do this...

Take care and I am sure they will get to the bottom of this soon...

I have been bleeding since December 2008. My ultrasound showed a few small cyst but dr. said that they were so small he is not worried about them. My uterine lining is 5-6 times thicker than it should be, Endodemetrial Dysplsia. I am having a D&C, bioposy, Laparoscopy and a Hysterscopy next Monday. He did put me on Norethindrone 2 times a day to stop the bleeding and after 36 hours my bleeding stopped.
Hope your Dr. gives you some answers today. Let us know. Good Luck!!!!
