On June 30, 2007 I was involved in a head on car collision in where the combined impact was 63mph. My airbag did not deploy causing me to hit my forehead on my steering wheel. I had contusions, a concussion, etc from the accident. From the moment I hit that steering wheel I was experiencing pain in my head much like a headache and I figured it would go away upon healing. Think again. The headache has NEVER gone away, not even for a minute. It has been almost 10 months of frustration and suffering. I initially had a MRI and CT scan done where it showed up negative. My doctor figured they would go away after a few weeks and it was probably my body needing to heal from such an impact. Weeks went by, months went by. Then on April 11, 2008 my blood pressure spiked out of nowhere and my headaches became excrutiating. I couldnt get out of bed to even go to work. I could be in a room with ANY light in it. It made me nauseas and dizzy and all I could do was lay there and cry. My doctor saw me and put me on yet another drug to see if that would help. He also put me on the strongest percocet for the pain. All the percocet does is allow me to sleep for a few hours. Every day since the 11th the headaches have been getting a little worse.....yesterday 4/17 I did another MRI with dye to see if something new came up on it. My doctor is now thinking about a possible brain tumor, brain swelling (but why?), or something neurological. I came on here in hopes of maybe getting some oher suggestions because at this point i dont know where else to turn. Endless doctors appointments, so many different trial drugs to see if they work, and no answers or relief. Please help! scared

Extremely eHealthy
I don't think you have developed a brain tumor in a meantime.
Have you noticed some blurred vision or ringing in the ears?
Are you experiencing certain loss of hearing?
Do you find your self sensitive to sound, too?
Do you have fatigue, sleepiness, or other problems with sleep?
Can you tell that you are irritable, anxious, depressed, and a have changed in personality?

HI - I know the post is old but I'm sort of having some of the same Symptoms you mentioned.
About 7 months ago I was in a car accdient. I had whiplash, concussion and a bloodshot eye.
All problems went away with in 2 months.
Now, 7 months later I'm having mild pain in my neck. I can feel disc moving around when I turn my neck. My eyes are very sensitive to light and I'm starting to notice slurred speech. Headaches atlest twice a week and ringing in my ears every so often.
