hi

basically I've a headache for the last 4.5 years with only a few days that I haven't had one. The majority of the pain is behind my right eye and temple and drifts over my hole forehead. Its very difficult to think because the pain gets worse and worse if I do. I'm also really sensitive to light and often see halos around the light source. I'm a really active guy in my late teens. The pain is so intense that its affected me academically (It hurts so much that i don't have the will to push through it and complete all assignments.) I really cant take it any more!

This sounds like migraine type of headache (headache with throbbing quality, that is made worse with routine physical activity such as going up stairs or bending over).
If you were taking painkillers almost daily for longer period, it could be that you are experiencing medication-overuse headache.

See a neurologist!
