My 4 week old daughter has had constant gas for the last two weeks. She doesn't seem to get a break from it, it's constant. She is always pushing and fussing with pain. She can be soothed if we rub her stomach and help her get it out, but an hour later it is back again. Her tummy gets all hard and swollen, and it rumbles while she is eating. If we lay her on her back she wakes up pushing. We feel so bad for her, it is a lot of gas for such a little girl. We burp her frequently during feedings and massage her stomach. We have tried gas drops, and gripe water. All of these things help her get her gas out, but it is back again within an hour or two. She is breast fed. Please let me know about the solution for this.
