I have been going thru these attacks now for about 6 months.. I saw one Gastro and he had me have a mri and called back and said to have my kidneys checked.. he saw what he thought was swelling .. I called my Uro and he did a ct and he said no , it was an artifact.. nothing wrong with my kidneys.. so my gastro than put me on atavan.. saying it was probably anxiety .. ( I am stressed.. for sure ) it seems to help.. but the burping comes on again and again.. I saw a second gastro and he gave me Align .. a probiatic .. and noritriptiline to take at bedtime.. I had nightmares with that .. stopped.. he also told me not to take the atavan .. because its addicting .. so I dont know what to do .. I do know that these burps come on all of a sudden and are hard burps.. every few seconds .. maybe 15 seconds.. is there anything I can do to get rid of these.. they are driving me nuts .. thank u
