Hello i am i need of a little advice. I think i may have some food intolerances??? I am an overall healthy person. I'm active and really stride to be healthy. I suffer migraines pretty frequently, usually lasting for a couple of days. The migraines started occurring about a year ago, when i was 23. I deal with them. In the past 8 months or so, i have really been noticing terrible digestion problems. I ALWAYS feel bloated, crampy, my guts feel like they are tearing into threads. I burp constantly for hours until the fullness goes away. I have normal stool, no diarrhea ever. I eat normal amounts of food, very rarely over eat. For example.... Today I ate lunch around 1:00 p.m. I ate 1 flour tortilla w/ sour cream, small handful of plain potato chips, banana, and some grapes. It is now 7:30 p.m. and my stomach is still really bloated, i'm not hungry, just extremely uncomfortable in the belly. I was burping all day long, not just small burps, but really disgusting ones. Sorry to be so gross. I recently started a vegetarian diet, thinking meat was the cause of migraines. I enjoy the vegetarian diet, but cant stand the uncomfortableness anymore!!!! I need to find out what is wrong. Also, i get heartburn pretty frequently . Any input would be helpful. I read a little on gluten allergies, but not sure if a vegetarian/ no gluten diet is safe. i currently do not have insurance, so any advice would be great. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.

I'd suggest that you cut out ALL DAIRY PRODUCTS. And you might also want to see a licensed nutritionst to begin a diet plan. First-time consults are usually between $50-100, but in my opinion, the money is worth it. The stomach symptoms that you describe can easily be helped by changing what you eat. You just need to have a plan and act on it! Check out these organization for more information:

The American Dietetic Association
The National Association of Nutrition Professionals is a non-profit business
British Nutrition Foundation
