I am 54 yrs old and have had an eratic period for a few years. I went 9 months without one then it was back again in full force. I had a D&C 8 yrs ago and a biopsy and vaginal ultrasound 2 yrs ago. All normal. In June I had a pap and a FSH test. The pap was normal and the FSH showed I was in menopause. Still I have constant bleeding, usually a small amount when I wipe. Every once in awhile a bit more with clots. I don't have a Mom, sis or aunt to get any info. So I'm wondering if those of you who have gone through menopause can tell me if this is normal before my period stops for good. Thank you in advance for any information. I really appreciate it. I need to stop worrying.

If this keeps up, I would check with my OB-GYN or Internal Medicine physician...Make sure that your blood count is good and that you are not becoming anemic...It is possible that they may want to check this out further...Good luck...
