Constant bleeding after coil removal

hi i had the coil fitted around December time and had it taken out mid march. while having it in, every period i had i was in immense pain and basically spotted and bled for the whole time apart from the odd week where by the time id come off i was due back on again a week later! once having the coil removed i went onto having microginon! i was on my period when i had the coil removed and ever since ive basically been on my period, its either red clotted blood or brown stringy clotted discharge! ive been checked for sti's and have no strange smells or spots! what is causing this to happen or is it just that my body needs time to reset from the coil!
