Q: Confused about Glucose Screening

I am very confused at my last doctors appointment when I was 6 weeks along my OB doctor gave me the orange glucose drink to take home with me. Now I have other children, and with all of those other pregnancies I never did the glucose screening until I was 6 to 7 months along. Has anyone ever had this test done at 10 weeks pregnant? Does these seem right? I do look like I am 4 months pregnant but my doctor did not give me that many weeks at my last doctors visit.

I didn't have my gluco test till a few weeks ago, so around 7 months. But a friend of mine just told me she had hers done and she is only 8-10 weeks some where around there. She asked me why she had hers so soon and I had no clue. But when she asked the drs office they just told her its routine. So maybe they are checking early in pregnancy now.
