during the last year, i have been having frequent chest infection. but on April 2010, i was confirmed to be asthmatic, am 30 years but i feel like 70 years with my coughing &consistent fatigue. my asthma is brittle and very annoying, i need to watch everything am doing and eating. i have never done an allergy test. am on inhalers( blue+purple). it is very annoying for me, i have been off sick for quite a while. i an finding it very hard to cope with it and after all i want to have a baby. these things are quite worrying, will my health be an obstacle, please do guide me, i need your words of support. thanks

Yes, I agree, asthma can be very debilitating. However, the good news is that it can be easily kept under control. With proper medication which will have to be tried and see, which combination helps, symptoms will be well under control and you can try for pregnancy.

Common Allergens are dust, pollen, animal dander, perfume and spray. You can yourself try and spot what causes you to have more symptoms. Please consult a chest specialist for proper evaluation and treatment. Hope this helps. Take care!
